I have two, but I count four.
We’ll go in age order.
Lisa
My sister. Once blonde, now a redhead. She has a loud, infectious laugh. And is tender heart. We have a tendency to say the same thing at the same time. Watching movies and eating Coldstone is our thing. I’ll go spend the weekend at her house sometimes. We both love to read and discuss the books we’re both read. We’ve never fought.
Kevin
Kevin is Lisa’s husband. I met him when I was 3. We are complete goofballs together. We have water balloon and nerf gun wars. One year, I even bedazzled a bright pink full size shovel. He still keeps it in his house.
Nikki
Nikki is Jay’s wife. I met her when I was 3. Nikki and I are shopping and baking buddies. When I go to visit them, we talk a lot, about anything. I’d like to say we are close friends, more like sisters. She’s hilarious and such a fun person.
Jay
Jay is one of my biggest heroes. When I was little, I was a momma’s girl and Jay’s girl. We talk football and sports. He is really fun as well. I think it comes with being a youth minister. He will shoot straight with you if you ask him a question, even if you don’t like the answer.
I’ve actually never fought with any of them. I get along with them pretty well, I think it comes with the age differences. There is so much more I could say about them, but you will hear about them a lot if you read my blog. Regardless, I am blessed beyond measure to have these four in my lives and wouldn’t trade them for anything. Not only that but they’ve given me four beautiful nieces and one nephew to spoil for the rest of my life!
P.S. We decorated the trees (yes, trees, we have TWO this year!) this weekend. Decorating the house will happen this week in preparation for a little Christmas party happening at my house this weekend!
